On 1 Jul 2015 CTT (Portugal Post)<\/a> issued a set of three stamps and a souvenir sheet to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Torre de Bel\u00e9m<\/a>. The tower, located at Lisbon, was completed in the early 16th century and was used as a lighthouse from the late 1880’s until about 1945. It has been inactive for the past 70 years. The stamps are available from WOPA stamps<\/a>.<\/p>\n
