On 1 July 2015 the Royal Australian Mint released two beautiful coins that commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Australia accepting responsibility from the state governments for the 167 lighthouses then surrounding that nation’s coastline. One of the coins is struck from bronze and has a value of $1 and the other is made of fine silver and has a value of $5. These are collector coins and not intended for circulation.
