On 18 June 2020 Great Britain’s Royal Post issued a set of 8 stamps commemorating “Roman Britain”. One of the second class postage stamps features Dubris Pharos, otherwise known as the Roman Lighthouse located at Dover. This inactive lighthouse dates from the early 1st century A.D. and is the tallest standing Roman building in the U.K.
Thanks to Japp and Michael for bringing this stamps to our attention. Help from our readers is always appreciated.
