Alderney Lighthouse Stamps, 1 Feb 2017

Today, 1 Feb 2017, Guernsey Post issued a set of 6 stamps honoring the 1st edition map of Alderney and Burhou created by the architect Addison Warren. Two of the stamps and the interesting mini sheet show a stylized version of Alderney Lighthouse. The lighthouse location, at the upper right, is marked by a red arrow on the first image shown below. Each of the stamps is available as a single or in sheets of 10.

Isle of Man Lighthouse Stamp, 19 Jan 2017

On 19 January 2017 Isle of Man issued a set of six stamps featuring Manx Towns and Villages. One of these stamps shows the entrance to Peel Harbor. At the extreme left side of the stamp we can see part of Peel Pierhead Light and at the center of the stamp Peel Castle Jetty Light with it’s green and white stripes is visible. The stamp is also available in a sheet of 10 stamps as shown below.
