The second in the series of Beautiful Netherlands stamps featuring lighthouses was issued on 25 Feb 2019 by PostNL and shows Vlieland Lighthouse.The current light was built in 1909 and stands on a dune at the northern part of Vlieland island, north of Texel where the lighthouse in the previous post stands.

Beginning in early January 2019 PostNL began issuing lighthouse stamps in the 2019 Beautiful Netherlands series. The first of these, issued on 2 January 2019, depicts Eierland Lighthouse at Texel. This lighthouse, dating from 1864, was originally located 3 km from the sea but in recent years has become endangered by beach erosion and is protected by a seawall.
