Correo Uruguayo issued a mini-sheet to commemorate World Tourism Day – Rural Development on 30 Sept 2020. While none of the stamps depicts a lighthouse, Cabo Polonio Lighthouse is shown at the lower right part of the sheet. This lighthouse, built in 1881, is a major approach light at the northern entrance to the Rio de la Plata

On 18 June 2020 Great Britain’s Royal Post issued a set of 8 stamps commemorating “Roman Britain”. One of the second class postage stamps features Dubris Pharos, otherwise known as the Roman Lighthouse located at Dover. This inactive lighthouse dates from the early 1st century A.D. and is the tallest standing Roman building in the U.K.
