On 15 Jan 2018 Canada Post issued a set of 9 stamps featuring some of that countries most stunning landscapes. The stamps are produced in booklets, horizontal and vertical coils and a souvenir sheet. Five of the stamps are permanent value stamps while the other four have specific denominations. One of the permanent value stamps depicts Covehead Lighthouse in the Prince Edward Island National Park. This lighthouse was built fairly recently (1975) but its lens is over 100 years old.

Below is a stamp released by Canada on 1 July 1942 that has not previously been in our checklist. This stamp was one of a set of 4 definitives that was in use until 1948. The title is “Corvette Ready for Launching” and it shows a lighthouse in the background. As of now the light will be listed as “unidentified” unless someone can leave a comment below to help out.
