2018 Germany Lighthouse Stamps

On 7 June 2018 Deutsche Post continued the lighthouse stamp series by issuing a set of two stamps. The 0.45€ stamp features Darsser Ort Lighthouse. This lighthouse is located in the former East Germany and is open to the public. Since it’s renovation in 1995 it has become a popular tourist attraction. Wangerooge Lighthouse is shown on the 0.70€ stamp. This lighthouse is located at the northern approach to the port of Wilhelmshaven and houses the vessel traffic control system for the port.
