2021 Jersey Lighthouse Stamps

2021 has been a great year, so far, for Jersey Lighthouse stamps! First was the Post and Go issue in February. That issue was followed by a set of 6 stamps issued on 11 March titled Europa 2021 – Endangered National Wildlife – Jersey Seabirds & Marine Life. None of these six stamps shows a lighthouse but each is available in a mini-sheet of  10 stamps and each of the sheets features the island’s iconic La Corbière Lighthouse at the left margin. On the first day of April 2021 Jersey Post issued another set of photographic stamps titled Jersey From the Air showing St. Catherine’s Breakwater L/H on the 74p value and La Corbière L/H on the £1.75 value. The photographs for these stamps were taken from drones giving a unique perspective of Jersey’s scenery.

February 2021 Guernsey ATM Stamps

Not to be outdone by Jersey, Guernsey also issued a set of six ATM stamps celebrating “Bailiwick Planes. There are two series of these labels, one imprinted “Envoy House”. Each of the series are available as strips of 6 different labels and a collectors set of the G series is available with 6 strips of each value. One of the labels in each series depicts the Blue Island ATR-72 flying over St. Peter Port. Below the tail of the aircraft the two piers enclosing the harbor can be seen. Castle Breakwater L/H is visible on the lower right pierhead and White Rock Pier L/H is visible on the other. Both are circled in red for clarity.
