On 17 Feb 2016, Royal Mail issued a 6-stamp Post and Go sheetlet entitled “Royal Mail Heritage – Transport”. The third stamp on the sheetlet features a Falmouth packet ship of the 1820s. Just below the bowsprit of the ship we can make out Lizard Lighthouse which is located on the coast of Cornwall at the western entrance to the English Channel.

On 18 Feb 2015 Royal Mail issued a set of Post and Go stamps featuring working sailing vessels. One of the stamps depicts a herring drifter named the Briar. At the lower left corner of the picture, near the stern of the vessel can be seen the Aberdeen North Pier Light.
