On 6 June 2015 Saint-Pierre et Miquelon issued a set of stamps incorporated in a souvenir sheet commemorating old cars. The stamp at the lower right of the sheet shows Tête de Galantry Lightouse in the background. Because of it’s proximity to the airport the structure was demolished in 1980 and replaced by Galantry Lighthouse nearby. Prior to it’s destruction Tête de Galantry was the oldest light station in the French territory of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.
