Latvia Lighthouse Stamp, 17 Sept 2021

On 17 Sep 2021 Latvia Post issued the latest in it’s long-running series of lighthouse stamps. Irbe Lighthouse is the only offshore lighthouse in Latvian waters and was completed by the Soviet Union in 1985. The lighthouse is located on a shoal in the Irbe Strait between the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga.

2021 Netherlands Postal Stationery

Jaap sent in an interesting item recently. This is a magazine card pre-printed by Netherlands Post and sold to Philatelie magazine. The card is then addressed and dated by the magazine publisher to be used as postage to mail the magazine to subscribers. The card shows Eierland Lighthouse which is located on Texel Island.
