On 1 June 2022 New Zealand issued a set of stamps and a mini sheet marking the 100th anniversary of Te Kura, formerly known as The Correspondence School. This is a distance learning program and in the pre-internet days was closely affiliated with the New Zealand postal service.
One of the stamps shows a section of New Zealand’s oldest lighhtouse, Tiritiri Matangi L/H which is located on a small island northeast of the city of Auckland.
