Canada Lighthouse Stamp, 6 May 2024

On 6 May 2o24, Canada Post issued a set of stamps in the “From Far and Wide (Part 4)” Series. One of the stamps shows Point Prim Lighthouse located on Prince Edward Island. The lighthouse was constructed in 1845 near the entrance to Hillsborough Bay and is one of the oldest in Canada.

I want to apologize for not posting anything recently on the Lighthouse Stamp Society website. I had knee replacement surgery in March of this year and it has made climbing stairs (to my computer) and sitting at my desk rather difficult. Thankfully, things are gradually improving and I hope to continue catching up on stamp issues in the near future. Terry Jednaszewski, webmaster.
