Greece Lighthouse Stamp, 14 May 2020

On 14 May 2020 Hellas Post issued a stamp and related material celebrating 100 years since the integration of Alexandroupoli with Greece. This issue is referred to as a “Collectible product in a limited edition”. Alexandroupoli Lighthouse is shown on the label attached to the stamp. This lighthouse is located on the Aegean Sea in the northeastern part of Greece near the border with Turkey.

Great Britain Lighthouse Stamp, 18 June 2020

On 18 June 2020 Great Britain’s Royal Post issued a set of 8 stamps commemorating “Roman Britain”. One of the second class postage stamps features Dubris Pharos, otherwise known as the Roman Lighthouse located at Dover. This inactive lighthouse dates from the early 1st century A.D. and is the tallest standing Roman building in the U.K.
