2017 France Lighthouse Stamp

Cherbourg-en-Cotentin is commemorated by this 0.73€ stamp issued by La Poste on 10 July 2017. The light on the end of the Jetée du Homet is noted by the red arrow in the right-center of the stamp. While not actually a lighthouse, it is still a lighted aid to navigation. Cherbourg is located on the north coast of France and has a fine deep water harbor.
