2022 Isle of Man Lighthouse Stamp

On 8 March 2022 The Isle of Man issued a set of six stamps commemorating the Sculptures of Michael Sandle RA. One of the stamps shows the Malta Siege Bell Monument located in Valetta, Malta. In the background we see St. Elmo L/H (left) and Ricasoli Breakwater L/H (right). The artwork of this stamp is also used on the cover of the presentation pack for this issue.

2020 Isle of Man Lighthouse Stamp

On 7 April 2020 Isle of Man issued a set of six stamps celebrating the poetry of William Wordsworth. One of these stamps shows Conister Rock Lighthouse, also known as Tower of Refuge. The tower sits on an island near the entrance of Douglas Harbor. The tower was built to provide shelter for shipwrecked mariners on St. Mary’s Island.
