Azerbaijan and Egypt commemorated the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations by a joint stamp issue though Egypt issued the stamps on 28 May 2012 and Azerbaijan did not issue theirs until 18 Oct 2012. The stamps featured the Maiden Tower in Azerbaijan and the Sphinx in Egypt.
