Amédée Lighthouse Stamp, 5 Nov 2015

On 5 Nov 2015 New Caledonia issued this fine stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of the first lighting of Amédée Lighthouse. The metal structure was built in Paris and was assembled there before being disassembled and shipped to New Caledonia.

On 12 Aug 2015 Posteitaliane issued a set of four stamps in the series theme “Heritage natural landscape” dedicated to parks and gardens of Italy. One of the stamps features Asinara Lighthouse.
