On 28 July 2016 An Post issued a booklet containing four different stamps that commemorate the longest defined coastal touring route in the world, the Wild Atlantic Way. Though no lighthouses are pictured on the stamps, the booklet cover features Valentia Lighthouse at Cromwell Point. The light tower, which dates to 1841 was built within the walls of a fort in southwestern Ireland and is also known as Fort Point Lighthouse.
