On 28 July 2016 An Post issued a booklet containing four different stamps that commemorate the longest defined coastal touring route in the world, the Wild Atlantic Way. Though no lighthouses are pictured on the stamps, the booklet cover features Valentia Lighthouse at Cromwell Point. The light tower, which dates to 1841 was built within the walls of a fort in southwestern Ireland and is also known as Fort Point Lighthouse.
On 6 October An Post issued another set of four values to commemorate Irish Lighthouses/Commissioners of Irish Lights. The stamps area available in a sheet of 16 stamps and in a prestige booklet.
The four stamps are shown below. The first one shows a navigational buoy being serviced. The second one shows Fanad Head Lighthouse. The third shows only the stylized lighthouse and the fourth one Valentia Lighthouse at Cromwell Point. All four feature the stylized lighthouse at the right.
