The stamp and sheet shown below both depict the Torre de Belém which is located near the mouth of the Tagus River at Lisbon, Portugal. The stamps were released on 17 Apr 2012. A skeletal lighthouse was erected in front of the tower in 1886 but the lighthouse has been inactive since 1945. The tower is pictured at the back left of both items above the stamp’s denomination.
