2021 New Caledonia Lighthouse Stamp

On 18 August 2021 New Caledonia issued a stamp depicting Taboiu Reef Lighthouse. This lighthouse marks the western side of the Passe de Boulari and is located near the more well-known Amedee L/H which is on the eastern side of the pass. Based on the image on the stamp, it appears that Tabou has been recently renovated. The sheet of stamps has some interesting information. At the upper left is a chart of the location of the two lighthouses. At the bottom left is an illustration of the construction of the lighthouse in 1885. There is a depiction of the pass at the bottom center and pictures of Fresnel lenses at the bottom right.
