On 2 June 2016 the United States Postal Service will issue a set of 16 stamps to celebrate the Centennial of the National Park Service. One of the stamps in the set features Bass Harbor Head Light in the Acadia National Park in Maine.

On 30 July 2014 the United States Postal Service issued a set of two stamps commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The stamps come in sheets of 12 with each stamp having a current face value of $0.49. One of the stamps depicts the Battle of Mobile Bay on 5 Aug 1864. The Battle of Mobile Bay stamp is a reproduction of a painting by Julian Oliver Davidson, published ca. 1886 by Louis Prang & Co. To the right of  Fort Morgan Mobile Point lighthouse is visible. The lighthouse was severely damaged by gunfire and was later rebuilt. There is an interesting article about the lighthouse here.
