These two stamps were issued on 13 Sep 2012 and are a continuation of a series begun in 2012. Engey Lighthouse went into service in 1937 and is located on an island just outside of Reykjavík harbor. Calf Hamar Lighthouse is located on Iceland’s northern coast and was built in 1940. It did not go into service until 1942 as World War II delayed the delivery of the lighting equipment which was built in England.
